Today's sneak peek of Papertrey Ink's July release includes an adorable ice cream cone building set with dies to match. I would have loved to have had this set available back in May when making a card for an adorable 4 year old who was having an ice cream sundae party for her birthday. It was a lot of fun to make, but it would have been even more enjoyable with all the cute options this stamp set promises!

You can't tell very well from the picture, but the base of the card is shimmery white. I just paper pieced the ice cream cones, it wasn't too hard but maybe a little out of proportion, dies would have made this job so much neater. I used a score board to create the grooves or whatever they are called in the cones, and a q-tip with ink to swirl the ice cream cones which ended up looking a little like cotton candy. Oh well, like I said, I enjoyed making it, and the birthday girl seemed to like it just fine. :)
